 Birth Photography

Why hire a birth photographer?

The photographs from your labour and delivery are

a beautiful reminder of one of the most important

days of your life.

Allowing a photographer to handle this important

task will not only free up Dad or your other support

person/s to be more available to you during your

labour and delivery, but it will also ensure that his

or her participation is captured on film.

Support persons won’t have to worry about taking

photos, so they’ll be better able to enjoy the moment

right along with you.

They can be a more active participant on a day

worthy of documenting!

I pride myself on being discrete and professional

during this intimate time for you. But can also lend

support, and a warm smile never goes astray.

Cost and Inclusions – Please send me a message for my Birth Photography pricing. As there are several packages available.

As each birth experience is unique and different, the photographs taken can vary. A longer labour and delivery will result in more images. On average, parent/s should receive around 100-200 edited images on disc. These tasteful images will be in black and white.

I recommend getting together during your pregnancy so we can meet, and chat about what you would like, and to discuss your birth plan. Fox + Pearl Photography offers birth photography at Leongatha & Wonthaggi Hospitals, which are 15 minutes and 30 minutes respectively for me to travel, to be with you at this wonderful time.

If you are having a cesarean delivery, it may prove difficult for me to be “allowed” in the theater by doctors & staff, but I am willing to try with you. There are also moment prior to theater and after the birth that I can be there for to capture those pure, wonderful moments. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.

Due to the current Covid related restriction, Birth Photography is not currently available. Please talk to you health care professionals, if Birth Photograpy is something you would like to have for the birth of your child.

If approved, lets talk!

Testimonials from birth photography clients

Nakita, from Cape Patterson - " Although labour may not be something you want to re live, it is easily forgotten and the moments whilst your  giving birth are incredible and also much missed, having Lindy at my birth to capture the good, the bad and the ugly moments was alot more  rewarding then most will think. I get to go through the experience again with out the pain, screaming and mess. Each time I look over the photos captured it brings tears to my eyes of how brave and incredible I was during that time.

Lindy's amazing work has showed me how strong I can be for my children and she continues to show me how incredible I have done at bringing them into this world. Having Lindy at my birth would have to of been one of the best decisions I have made and has given the chance for those who didn't make it to the birth, the option to see it in a less aggressive manor. Her work is extremely tasteful and beautiful and she captured many things family and friends would have missed if I left them in charge of the camera. I highly recommend birth photography to any expectant mother!"
