Our Story...
Hi, my name is Lindy, the creator, photographer, artist, and heart
behind Fox + Pearl Photography.
My photography journey began when I was a young child.
Possibly when I was around 8 years old. My Mum gave me my
first camera (an old-school 35mm camera that only took square
photographs) I would spend my days setting up my teddy bears
and dolls around the house and yard and take their photographs.
There was something about creating an image that I loved.
One perfect moment, captured and frozen forever.
I studied Photography/Journalism in year 9 & 10.
I studied Studio Arts in years 11 & 12.
While I had good intentions of following through with Photography
in tertiary education, life had other ideas. And my path took on a
different direction.
But my love of photography stuck with me, I was the one you would see at parties snapping away behind my
camera. Where ever I was, my camera was with me.
Never missing a moment!
Then one day, around the time of our 4th child's first birthday,
something came over me. Why not give people a cheaper
alternative to "Pixi Photos"? Why should average Joe's have to pay a fortune for a few photographs of their children.
I could offer an affordable photography package.
And in May 2011, that is exactly what I did, and
Lynnae Photography was born.
On the 27th of February 2018, I changed my name from Lynnae Photography to what I'm now known as Fox + Pearl Photography
12 years ago, I began this little venture of mine. I had no idea how I'd go, but this was a dream of mine since I was 8 years old and given my first camera! I am so glad I took this leap of faith, and I am so proud of much I have grown.

We, as photographers need to keep up to date with current trends, and new styles as they come along. We are always learning, always evolving, forever growing. I hope to continue this growth with you all, and offer you new and fun types of photography sessions.

My favorite types of photography are the ones that capture the journey of and into Motherhood. I simply love documenting the changes that occur physically, mentally, and spiritually to a woman as she enters motherhood, and continues to evolve and change throughout the motherhood journey.

I was introduced to the idea of Birth Photography after seeing another Australian Photographer post some images up on her Facebook page.
Wow! It took my breath away.
For years, I had contemplated becoming a midwife. To help new life enter the world, was just something amazing. So when I was given the opportunity to offer Birth Photography, I grabbed it with both hands, and never let go. To witness new life enter the world, and then to document it so the parents are able to view it over and over again.
Wow. There are just no words to describe the amazing feelings I get.

I am one lucky lady! And I cannot wait to continue on this amazing journey.

I LOVE - my 2 baby girls, ages 19 & 13 and my 8 year old adorable son. my two gorgeous bonus kids aged 24 & 21 . my devoted husband of 11 years . my pets, Ruby the cat and Milly our pup . the country life . my family, mum, dad, my siblings .
